Safe & Natural Skin Care Products

There are so many scary sounding ingredients on most skin care products, it is hard to figure out what you should be avoiding! Dr. Reid will go over the most harmful ingredients, why they are harmful, what they are used for in the products, and “secret names” so that you can be armed with this information when deciding what to buy for your family. She will also go over safe and effective natural alternatives.

Dr. Alexis Reid is a chemical engineer, with a master’s in pharmacology/toxicology, turned naturopathic doctor. She has a strong interest in the impact of chemicals on human health. While she was doing her master’s in breast cancer research, she was shocked to learn that chemicals that are well known to be linked to cancer are commonly present in skincare products. This prompted Alexis to merge her knowledge of chemical engineering and naturopathic medicine to create the 100% natural skincare line Eco Chic Movement. Dr. Reid practices at LIfeTherapies Clinic in Westboro, and is currently accepting new patients.

Each client is unique and Lisa uses a variety of techniques to tailor each treatment plan to the individual.
